Emily has a question–if Nashville is ranked 13th by Forbes as a city of single, professional adults, then where are all these single, professional adults congregating?

Have these people who made up this list actually TRIED dating in Nashville? My compliments to them if they have and were successful. Unfortunately for me, I happen to love my city, but my city does not love me. I chose to live in and love a city that offers little to no romantic supplement. All signs of love in this city have either migrated here together from more fertile pastures, or are, in my evolved opinion, completely contrived.

I know of one such place for the single, professionals, Christian mid-30s and under crowd to meet. There’s The Loop on Monday evenings at 7:30 at Brentwood UMC. It’s a non-demoninational fellowship, worship and free-food time.

Also, there are a couple of Meet-Up groups for local singles. But beyond that, I got nothing.
