I’m thinking we should start a campaign to remove the f-word from our society and replace with the word FOX. It makes a lot of sense since every show that seems to air on FOX these days is, pretty much….well, screwed (unless it’s 24 or American Idol).

The latest news is about FOX’s new show, New Amsterdam, which has been pulled until the winter season…if it airs at all.

In a totally Fox-like and unsurprising move Fox has delayed the debut of its new SF show titled “New Amsterdam,” one of the most promising new programs on the network’s new Fall schedule.

Executives over at that clueless network still, after all these years, after their terrible mis-step with “Firefly,” “Drive” and so many other great and promising shows, just doesn’t get it — and, I have come to the conclusion that, as long as current management remains in place — they never will!

At this point, it’s hard to see why you’d bother watching any new show on FOX. I have a feeling that no matter how great this new show is and how glowing the reviews are, I may have to wait for the DVD set to be released and the second season renewal notice to come through before I give it a chance….I’ve just been burned one too many times by FOX.

Amazing. I saw the ads for that series, and I thought, “Wow, that looks decent. I’ll have to watch it.” I rarely watch a show regularly, so that was actually rather significant. And then it got FOXed. What a shame. Not being an American Idol or 24 fan, I really don’t watch that network at all anymore.

Yeah, too bad that weird “Simpsons” series never got a full season commitment….

I use “FOX” as a verb now. It’s my own effword.

Y’all know about the “curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal” tattoo on my left haunch. Now you know why.

These are the same people who told Chris Carter that Scully needed more boobs, y’all. Why are we suprised?

Vanished.
Millenium.

Arrested Development.

I’ll say it again:

Arrested F—-ing Development

Why does anyone BOTHER watching Fox?

ABC just pulled a FOX for their series “Masters of Science Fiction” … they held on to the 6 episodes they had made for a year, then decide to air only 4, burying the show in a 10 pm Saturday night time slot in August.

This despite using stories from legendary writers like Heinlein and Harlan Ellison, top tier directors and actors and big budgets. the show began this past Saturday night, and rumors say they may only show one more episode, killing the two of the four they were going to air.

hope it heads to DVD.

[…] the best thing–the show is serialized but unlike its big brother FOX, FX lets shows run their full season. So, at least, we have a promise that we’ll see how the on-going, unfolding storyline plays […]
