I recently became the proud owner of a Palm Treo. (I feel so cool…sorta like Kate O‘, who I think is one of the coolest of the hip people I know.) I am totally addicted to it, too…just ask my friends and family.

So I was very happy to read this tidbit from Terry Heaton:

Basically, they’re creating subdomains using the letter “m” as a way of linking into content that’s been streamlined for mobile use. For example, USATODAY’s mobile URL is http://m.usatoday.com. How simple is that? I tried it, and it delivers as advertised.

Twitter is already like this, so I use the mobile version instead of racking up text messages — it’s all very cool.

I now return you to GingerSnaps’ regular programming of fun and frivolity (well…and my two soap boxes: immigration and the death penalty).
