Brittney shares a few thoughts about her former workplace

I guess I don’t understand it. I don’t understand why Volunteer Voters has gone to a “question only, I give no opinion” format, yet NIT has become a personal sounding board for one very partisan blogger. What is that about? I love the people at WKRN to this day, but they really need to get on the ball with this NIT 2.0. They are, at this pace, destroying what was once a great thing.

Even JP seems to have bailed on NiT. After the Paulite invasion yesterday you have to wonder what the future is for NiT.

The Paulites remind me a little of the Deaniacs from the last election. White hot passion that translates to very few votes.

If I was WKRN I would thank William for his efforts and take the keys back. Then I would hire someone to take over. I don’t see any other way to right the ship.

“Volunteer” seems to be their mantra.

Gosh…I’ve been unsubed to NIT for a while. Haven’t visited since not long after “Ms Gilbert” left. It really sounds like it’s starting to turn into a soap opera.

For once I agree with #9. NiT does need a blogging community leader and I hope they do hire one. My mission at NiT is pure volunteer and I have no responsibilities or guidelines. I’ve been doing this for 2 months now and no one at WKRN has seen fit to pull the plug.

More on that - see my comment on Brittney’s site.

You can call me partisan but instead of spewing solely my own opinions, I’ve been very careful to back up what I’ve posted with links to sources.

Apparently, Nashville IS talking as evidenced by the flood of visitors yesterday that overwhelmed the server and shut it down - more than 10,000 in a few hours.

They weren’t Nashville Talking. Your Ron Paul post got Dugg, and you got dugglanched by the vocal Paulites.

Not the same thing.

I hope they do hire one.

I don’t really see that as a likelihood.
