Well, not really. But she found a place to stay and loves her neighborhood. She’s a bit perplexed by the streets in San Francisco, though:
Next there was a large 3 bedroom Victorian that was almost never found thanks to the craziest streets I’ve ever driven on. You are driving along 17th when WHAM! the road ends and picks up somewhere else. Ridiculous. And for some reason streets in California often don’t have street signs. Maddening. The house was super sweet with tons of charm, but there were car alarms going off constantly while we where there. Not the most pleasant atmosphere.
Seriously, man, if the streets were worse than Nashville, I hate to think what they must have been like. When we first moved here, I never ceased to be amazed that you would be driving down Bell Road and then suddenly, you were on Old Hickory Blvd, one of four Old Hickory Boulevards that don’t connect. But at least we have street signs here in Nashvegas, at least there’s that.
