I’ve been reading About Me pages for the last little while and those “100 things” things. (I don’t know what else to call them.)

I’m bored with football right now, sue me.

Anyhoo, I found some good ones. Sometimes, these can be fun.

First we got to Coyote Chronicles, who writes this:

At 6′4″, 225, I am an imposing physical presence. Thankfully, my time spent with the Dalai Lama taught me to not rely on my extreme physical prowess, the better to let my pure and enlightened soul be the thing that draws people near. And so it is. Please do not let my Mensa membership intimidate you to the point that you do not leave a comment,

Umm, okay. The Dalai Lama obviously taught him to be positive. About his height.

Just saying.

On to Katie here with 100 things:

47. When I was a kid my grandfather used to pretend to get lost while driving. It scared the holy hell out of my sister and I.
48. I used to have a giant crush on Tom Cruise. Then, in 6th grade, I realized I was taller than he was.

And from Grandfille:

Likes: Arcane music and literary references, portly Siamese cats, tweedy librarians with glasses and hidden tattoos, egg rolls and big-eared by-the-book FBI agents. Also, punctuation. Oh, and capybaras.

Dislikes: Warmongers, tailgaters and people who taunt capybaras.

Do not taunt the capybaras, although the first one I ever saw scared the hell out of me because it looked like a big-assed hamster.

And, let’s take a look into the world of Sarcastro:

This is the part of the website where you find out I’m a divorced married with kids, white male in his forties. Just like every other asshole with a weblog.

Of course I look nothing like this anymore, and the woman in the picture is the wife of the guy with the camera. The only thing about this photo that bears any semblance to the truth is that I have been known to drink beer.

Picture included because I copied and pasted it as well because it sort of came together and I didn’t delete it because there’s a frothy Pabst in the picture.

And, my favorite from Hutchmo, his words to live by, which has a history behind it. Study up to see what happened.

Finally, this makes me laugh every single time from Martini Ministry:

I’ve recently begun listening to rap music. It’s, um, it’s… well folks it’s angry. Throws my chakras all to hell frankly. I only listen to it now right before I have to yell at someone for work. I just started listening because I wanted to know what all the hubbub was about. The same reason I do a good three quarters of the things I do in life. I’m fairly domestic, a Virgo, dislike confrontation, like Adult Swim, I like to sing jazz songs and I’m currently taking Japanese lessons. I sometimes laugh so hard that sound stops coming out of my mouth and I stop breathing. My family has lived in the south since they stepped foot off the boats and I enjoy ragging on the south. But if you do it, I’ll kick you in the shins.

Good fun.

Just chilling before the Thanksgiving week.

I could be wrong, but I’m 5′2″ and I don’t recall Coyote Man being over a foot taller than me.

Like I said I could be wrong but otherwise I think he’s being a little bit MORE than positive about that one too.
