Bob Krumm talks about the oft-blogged about impending impeachment of President Bush

Clearly what Biden is advocating is impeachment, not for “high crimes and misdemeanors,” but for political differences. Further proof that talk of impeachment is all about politics was Biden’s answer to an audience member who asked why not impeach the President now: “If you’re going to impeach George Bush, you better impeach Cheney first.” Why? If it’s about actual criminal conduct, what’s his crime? It’s all about getting the other party out of the way–the Constitution be damned.

Regardless of Mr. Krumm’s criticism of Sen. Biden there is a legitimate answer to his question:

Being that “high crimes and misdemeanors” is not concretely defined in the Constitution the substance of the allegations can be debated individually. However, support for impeachment is not a radical position, nor can it be dismissed as being a merely political action.

If that is grounds for impeachment then certainly you concur that Clinton should have been removed from office. That after all, included violations against actual federal codes.

Biden? Are we even sure he wrote that himself?
