I thought maybe out of pure stubbornness he’d try for Florida but I guess he realized he’d actually have to get up off his can and GO to Florida and that probably sealed it.

It’s blatantly obvious that Fredo only “graced the race” at the insistance of his trophy wife and hangers on that hoped to parlay certain positions of import in his campaign into more lucrative opportunities.He was a vehicle, like a little red truck!!!

I respect the fact that he “didn’t want it”. I think it’s refreshing to have a candidate that could take the presidency or leave it, as opposed to somebody who will say or do anything to get elected. I do regret the way the campaign was run though. We chose Fred, but this is not his thing. He did his best, I think, to make us happy. With Fred, it was always about his ideas, not him.
I am glad he is getting out, now the conservatives can rally behind the closest thing left, Gov Romney, although he certainly isn’t all that attractive. Sure beats the other three though. Anybody but the Huckster or McCain.
