Hillary Clinton & John Edwards, that is. And probably Barack Obama as well.  Tennessee is now more important in the scheme of things since nobody’s gotten a clear victory out of this yet. Even after Super Duper Tuesday (Who came up with that, and please tell me he or she didn’t get paid for it?) nobody will have a clear lead or be close to tying this thing up in either party. The math doesn’t work out for that even if one candidate sweeps everything.

Hillary’s already been to TSU tonight along with Chelsea. According to the Tennessean, Hillary said “The future is now. This is about us, this is about the next generation.” (I guess I’m a little confused, Hillary, ’cause you’re not much different than me in age & I hate to break it to you, Senator, but we ain’t the next generation. We’re the establishment none of us thought we’d ever trust way back when we were the next generation.)

She still wants out of Iraq but she also wants to tie the minimum wage to congressional pay raises. I wish I’d thought of that. It does prove she’s got a sense of humor. Can’t you just imagine politicians squirming just thinking about that? (I have worked for the minimum wage before and there’s a reason they don’t call it a survival wage. It isn’t enough for that.)

Despite getting a supreme smack down from Barack Obama in South Carolina, neither is giving up. Southern Beale, blogging from New York City even has dates, times and places for the Edwards shindigs. She’ll be there.

Sean Braisted noted that the Dems actually gathered more people to the polls to vote in SC than the Republicans did. Our local Loose Canon is taking shots at McCain about the war.

Last, but not least, MSNBC has one of those totally unscientific online voting opportunities up and 60% say the economy is more important than the war (17%) or health care (13%). And 36% said Bill needs to campaign less. That vote also says the finale will be Obama and McCain. I think they’re probably right.

I was there tonight. It was a good event. I know she has a lot of people that do not like her, but I think she has some good thoughts.
This is my second time seeing her. So far she has my vote.

I am not sure if I can make it to hear Edwards on Monday, but I am going to try.

Read that Huckabee is going to be “playing on Music Row” on Monday, too.

Methinks he won’t be appearing at Bobby’s Idle Hour.

I hear that Hillary is considering Harold Ford Jr for the VP slot. I can’t stand the DLC and that is the worst democrat ticket I can think of.
