One of the ‘Busy’ brood (Busy D) is playing some basketball this season for a kindergarten age team. Apparently, the team is not all that good, even for ‘K’ level. As usual, Busymom brings us tidings, joy-style: the team WON a game!

That was the earth shifting on axis a little.

Busy D.’s basketball team won their game this morning. He had 12 points.

Yes, they are in kindergarten, but, well, on the kindergarten basketball scale, they aren’t very good, so, this was a bit unexpected.

No, I’m not mean, and, I’m not “one of those” parents. Really. They really aren’t very good.

Alright, alright. I may be one “one of those parents” on occasion when I’ve had more than one cup of coffee, and, I involuntarily emit the words, “The BASKET! (For the love of all things good and holy) GO. TO. THE. BASKET!”
