If one were to analyze a single month’s worth of posts and comments from this blog, he or she would observe that you and some (un)notable others post almost every weekday, almost every weeknight, and almost every weekend.

Someone is getting shortchanged:

Employer, family, friends.

This is simple reason at work here, not “judgment.”

Consider me an advocate for those in the “lifeosphere” rather than the “blogosphere.”

D. Cyril, I certainly see your point, but you don’t have all the facts to make that kind of judgment. Note:
1. With Wordpress and a lot of other blogs, you can set the timestamp for any time. So you can write a week’s worth of posts in an hour on Sunday night if you want and set them to publish at any time.
2. A lot of children, spouses, friends go to bed at 8, 9, 10, whatever time at night, leaving plenty of personal time to blog. It’s certainly no worse a pasttime than watching Leno.
3. Personally, I’m currently unemployed and blog with the cat sitting in my lap while the boyfriend is out in the world. The only thing getting shortchanged in my life is maybe a couple of household projects. But I plan to get to them.

See, you don’t always have enough information to make blanket statements like that. Just sayin’.

I spend a lot of time with Ginger as we are very good friends and I can assure you that she spends plenty of time with her friends and family. She also apparently is a stellar employee from how her bosses have raved to me about what a great employee she is.
