Kleinheider’s in there.  So is Dave Joel, the beloved of Rachel.  They just like the whole mysterious motif…

Rachel on 23 March, 2008 at 10:11 am #

The beloved is actually “Joel.” :)

GingerSnaps on 23 March, 2008 at 10:34 am #

/mortified

My apologies!

Rachel on 23 March, 2008 at 10:37 am #

Ginger, no problem. His last name is definitely more memorable. :)

Jeffraham Prestonian on 23 March, 2008 at 11:31 am #

The beloved is actually “Joel.”

If he HAD a blog, we’d all KNOW that…! ;)

How awesome! Next time I’ll be there, if I have to pawn my TV for gas money. :P

Frank on 23 March, 2008 at 11:48 am #

You know you’ve been blogging a while when you can look at a photo of a group of bloggers and recognize some of them by sight.

Chris Wage on 23 March, 2008 at 12:33 pm #

Looks like fun.. Sorry I couldn’t make it..

Jeffraham Prestonian on 23 March, 2008 at 12:39 pm #

Sorry I couldn’t make it..

You could have made it, but you have your priorities all screwed up. Jogging over beer? Perish the thought!

Ron on 23 March, 2008 at 1:25 pm #

Mark it down, but I totally agree with Jeff on this one. Jogging over beer, indeed!

Rachel on 23 March, 2008 at 3:51 pm #

JP, I know, he’s just not into the blogging thing. You need music recorded or a trumpet player, though, and he’s your guy.

Ask him what his favorite mic for recording trumpet is.

JP, I asked, and I got a tutorial on how it depends on the song, the situation, whether and what kind of mutes are involved… :)

Jeffraham Prestonian on 23 March, 2008 at 7:46 pm #

Mutes are forbidden. NO MUTES!

Chris Wage…I was sorely disappointed that you weren’t there. And that’s the truth :P

MissSharonCobb on 24 March, 2008 at 3:54 am #

Claudia,
My invitation got lost, too.

Rachel on 24 March, 2008 at 6:39 am #

JP, the mute question came up because I asked, although I could see how you wouldn’t be a fan of softer sounds. :P

Newscoma on 24 March, 2008 at 7:14 am #

claudia and sharon, we did a call out on Twitter and it was pretty impromptu.
Next time, I’ll send you guys an email. :)

Newscoma on 24 March, 2008 at 7:16 am #

I always feel bad when people get left out and it was purely unintentional. :(

Malia on 24 March, 2008 at 8:59 am #

I so wish I could have stayed longer!! I felt so bad leaving just as Sharon arrived :-P Though, I have to say I’m not terribly disappointed that I was “left out” of a picture! LOL! Y’all look mah’velous!

Jeffraham Prestonian on 24 March, 2008 at 10:33 am #

“Mute” is such a misnomer in this case, though… “rasp” would have been more appropriate.

Stupid mono! It takes all I’ve got to work 40 hours a week. I would’ve loved to have been there!

Lynnster on 25 March, 2008 at 4:10 am #

Look at all the pretty people!

Aw, looks like fun. And Frank’s right about when you look at a pic like that and know who almost everyone is. There were two I wasn’t sure of (aside from Rachel’s but I figured out which one he was) but then I realized who the other was, so only one I dunno who it was. LOL.
