Is it just me, or did the CBS announcers in the WKU v. UCLA game start shoveling dirt onto WKU a little prematurely . . . when they were only 6 points down with 1:25 to go in the game?

On that note, the CBS announcers in the UT v. UL game were talking up the Vols beyond even the point at which my boys had lost all hope.

Go Tigers.

They started shoveling dirt on WKU much earlier than that. By halftime the guys in the studio declared the game over. Even though WTVF had made arrangements with Channel 30 to show the WKU game there, CBS changed the feed to show the Louisville/UT game instead so it was on both channels for a long period of time. Presumably, CBS did this because they thought the WKU game was boring.

Kudos to a gritty WKU team for fighting back and making a game of it.

I was ‘weirded-out’ a bit by the Channel 30 game switch as well. WKU certainly adjusted well at halftime, but it was too little - too late. Congrats to the Hilltoppers on a great run!

CBS’s announcers are incredibly biased….they hate anyone new who tries to break into the fun. If it were up to them, Duke, NC or UCLA would play for it every year and everyone else coudl just go to the NIT.
