It’s the TN Tax Free Weekend! Let’s all get out there and shop till you drop. Clothing, school and art supplies and computers are covered. Now if I’d only won the lottery on Wednesday… (sigh)

Details on what you can buy.

The Country Music Marathon is this weekend too. The bad news is that traffic might be an issue, the good news is that there will be lots of porta-potties available at Centennial Park.

I don’t understand why our state government didn’t vote to change this tax free weekend until after everyone got their rebate checks next month?? Bad mood if they wanted us to spend the money to help the economy! I am not spending my money It’s going in the bank to save!!!!

everybody’s not getting the rebate checks at the same time. I saw a news item that said they start coming out next week or so. Just do it the American way. Charge stuff and pay for it when your ship, uh rebate, comes in.

Another way to save money is to go to a yard sale tomorrow: http://nashville.craigslist.org/gms/655675297.html

Just sayin’. *cough*

What side of town should we head for tomorrow to get the best deals, Leslie? :)

I wanted to buy a new laptop this weekend and was considering a MacBook. I am going to hold off. I can live without and I would rather sit on the cash for a bit longer than blow it and need it the day after for something more important. Isn’t there going to be another tax-free weekend in August?

Yep, starts the first Friday in August
