Goodbye For Now

Monday I took my brother to the Army recruiting station in Murfreesboro. The plan was for him to spend the night in Nashville courtesy of the army, and then travel with others to Fort Bragg North Carolina for basic training and then advanced training.

I hate the war, but not our troops. Thanks to your brother and all of the rest of them. I hope he comes through it all safe and sane.

Basic training is not all that much fun, but he will come back even stronger. And able to do everything the Army way, from field cleaning a weapon to folding laundry. Godspeed.
