I found this picture this afternoon looking around Flickr at Nashville photos and I decided to give Pink Kitty a gander.
Well, she’s not blogging there anymore and is here.
I’ve been blogging for years at pink-kitty.blogspot.com. I hid behind behind a nom de plume so I could say what I wanted to say and not really worry about someone in the real world finding out who I am or what I said.
I didn’t want to be dooced
She is continuing a brand new journey at her brand new blog, Habhak.

Apparently love is in the air over at Knox News.
I wasn’t looking.
Neither was she.
And it started happening.
I still can’t believe it.snip
-Neither of us were looking and KNS isn’t a meeting place like a dating site or anything-as you must know..
-How we got together was simply from the admiration of her ideas and thoughts and our shared demented sense of humor.
-Whats happened after the first ‘contact’ has turned into the greatest thing thats ever happened to me.

Dang if that isn’t sweet.
H/T Knoxville Talks.
I heard about this new website on Good Morning America, this morning. It’s WOWOWOW.com and it was founded by some really amazing and frankly, powerful, women in our country. There are CEOs, writers, the co-founder of Sesame Street, news reporters, entrepreneurs, actors, and so on. It has a “blog” sort of feel in that there are posts that can be commented on. The posts are authored by the site’s founders and guests contributors. My favorite feature is the “Question of the Day” where a question is posed and many of the site’s founders submit their answers, then readers can answer the question as well or comment on what others have written.
It think it’s a very intriguing concept to have these well known women put their ideas and opinions out there in a very accessible way. My hope is that they will stay committed to this site and not let it get stale or overrun with the same people posting and commenting all the time. Go check it out and tell me what you think!
Ok, I don’t know if it’s spotted or not, but I liked the alliteration…
Go see Sista to read the story about this wise mama.
Unless of course, you want this to happen…
Now maybe your kids will listen to you when you warn them about swallowing chewing gum!

Taken from work today by Jeffraham…just beautiful…
I’m continuing to improve! I can transfer to the wheelchair on my own. With some assistance, I’ve stood in a walker and sort of taken a few steps. My hands are becoming more limber. One of the best things has been my friends. I have had visitors almost every day and frequent meals brought in from some of my favorite places.Next Tuesday will be 4 months since this began. It will be interesting to see how this experience changes me.
I don’t know what’s going on with Michael but he’s had a rough time.
Whoa.
Al Swearingen loved to hang out at the Cheesebook and was impressed with my ingenuity. It seems that The Gem and The Bella Union had cornered the market on the whores-drink-drugs-gambling vices but no one had yet thought of exploiting the cheese vice until I arrived on the scene.
Katherine is writing some great stuff. She always did, but she’s crediting the Lyrica.
Dealing with the fallout of Dreamhost’s error, which they are very sorry for, heh. Let’s just say it rocked my financial world today.
See y’all tomorrow, the only answer for a day this crappy is to drink heavily.

Head over to KateO’s for the before. Her house is simply beautiful, I love it.
I never could manage to build anything more impressive than a wall when I had Legos as a kid, but I still have always loved to see what other people build with Legos. Check out the pics of the Best Lil’ Lego Band from Nashville over at Kerry Woo’s place. Can we say nifty neato? I knew we could.
Today’s the day for Newscoma’s money bomb:
We’ve gotten off to a poor start for a variety of reasons, but mainly because I sorta forgot.
Instead of Sylvan Park, I’m thinking of a mobile home in Harris Station? I have made a couple of dollars, but mainly because I think Homer felt sorry for me.
There’s a paypal link on her site!
Meredith got one heck of a bargain:
I temporarily lost my mind. I bought myself a Persian lamb coat.
Perhaps I should say that my husband bought me one for Christmas in absentia.
It cost $30, which is the most I’ve ever paid, especially at thrift store prices. It had just been hung on the rack. I slipped it on and instantly felt like the most glamorous woman in Goodwill.
She’s got a picture of one of the sexiest coats I have ever seen. And I don’t like fur, as a general rule. But I’d let my no-fur rule slide in this case, I think. Go on over and check it out, it’s gaw-juss!

“Are you going to live in the world as if you believe that Jesus is all week or just Sundays?”
From Ben Cunningham at TaxingTennessee, who is linking this site that has some beautiful coyote photographs.
Squirrel Queen’s back. And it’s sorta gross.
Go see what she’s talking about, especially if you enjoy having a frothy beverage in a bar.
(Yes, I know December starts tomorrow. So I figured I’d get this up here early. Also,Vol Abroad asked for more pix.)
